Our first assignment was to do 10 watercolors from obsrrvation. I haven't worked with watercolor a whole lot so this assignment was a little challenging. I enjoy working with acryllic because it will do exactly what you want, where as watercolor does simply what it wants. However, I have come to find that the fact that watercolor is a little more difficult to control can actually be it's strong point. I'm slowly learning to let the watercolor take it's course and work from there.
